Official, Laporta Closes Flick's Most Requested Signing: Goodbye Psg, He's Coming to Barça

Barça's sporting director believes Paris Saint-Germain has a key player for the club's future

Days go by and in Barça's offices they continue working tirelessly on the possible addition of a new star for the first team's offensive line. Despite the great performance of Raphinha and Lamine Yamal, not to mention the connection with Robert Lewandowski, Flick continues to request the arrival of new faces to provide more attacking options. It's no wonder: the German coach wants to make his Barça a goal-scoring machine and believes his squad needs 'fresh air'.

Meanwhile, it should be noted that Hansi Flick is in favor of a new star considering that he hopes to make more rotations in the offensive area of the team. There are players who occupy a spot in the squad, but who are not in the German's plans, such as Ansu Fati or Pau Víctor. Thus, Deco has found the ideal reinforcement but Laporta has exploded: PSG is asking for a lot of money, although the sporting director will try to sign him.

A Long List of Options

Both Joan Laporta and Deco manage a long list of footballers who could be very interesting if they join Barça. The Portuguese executive has been exploring the market for some time at the request of the president, so there is a long list of options to strengthen the club's attack. And on this list, names like Nico Williams, Rafael Leão, Luis Díaz, or Alexander Isak can be found as examples.

However, considering recent events, it will now also be necessary to include and consider Randal Kolo Muani to a greater extent. The 26-year-old French striker is regaining his best form after a very challenging year. His loan to Juventus has brought back his goal-scoring profile, although Paris Saint-Germain still owns his rights and won't make things easy.

No Second Chances

Although PSG still keeps Kolo Muani as one of their squad players, the truth is that Luis Enrique doesn't plan to give him a second chance. In fact, the plan of the Parisian club's coach is to find a new destination for the French striker in order to sign a new offensive reinforcement in his place. However, Paris Saint-Germain has already replied firmly to Barça: even though he is not in their plans, they won't settle for less than 45 million euros.

Laporta firmly believes that it is excessive to pay such an amount for a player who still has much to prove. But it is Deco who is considering betting on Kolo Muani. Barça may make an attempt for the French striker, who would value very positively a move to Hansi Flick's team.
