FC Barcelona Remains Entangled in Legal Issues Related to Dani Olmo's Registration. What seemed like a solved matter has taken a new turn following La Liga's decision to file a complaint with the Higher Sports Council (CSD).
The controversy revolves around the financial operation that allowed the footballer to be registered during the transfer market. Although Barça managed to secure his presence in the squad, the legality of the transaction that facilitated this move is now being questioned.

The Problem with Dani Olmo's Registration
In a context of economic difficulties, Barça faced serious problems in complying with the 1:1 rule to register Dani Olmo without compromising Financial Fair Play.
To unlock the situation, Joan Laporta's board resorted to selling the exploitation rights of the VIP boxes at the new Camp Nou. A maneuver that allowed them to obtain 100 million euros.
With this capital injection, Barça not only managed to register Dani Olmo but also to comply again with the financial rules imposed by LaLiga. However, what seemed like a definitive solution has turned into a new nightmare for the blaugrana board.

LaLiga Points to Irregularities
When everything seemed calm, LaLiga filed a complaint against Barça with the CSD, alleging suspicious links in the sale of the VIP boxes.
According to El Confidencial, the competition presided over by Tebas claims that one of the companies involved in the transaction, New Era Visionary Group, has direct connections with the club.
The main issue is that Barça did not publicly specify which companies had acquired these rights. This has raised doubts about the transparency of the operation.

Who Is Behind the Purchase?
LaLiga's investigation indicates that the 100 million euros obtained by Barça come from two main sources:
- A company based in Qatar, which contributed 72 million euros.
- New Era Visionary Group, which provided the remaining 28 million.

What has drawn attention is that New Era Visionary Group is practically unknown in the telecommunications sector, its main declared activity.
Additionally, its headquarters in Spain is registered at a residential address in Barcelona. This has raised even more suspicions about its real connection with Barça.

Possible Consequences for the Club
If the CSD considers the complaint to be valid, Barça could face financial sanctions and even issues with Olmo's registration. Since the operation that allowed his registration could be declared irregular.
From the club, Laporta and his team defend the legality of the transaction. They assure that the sale of the VIP boxes was carried out in compliance with regulations and that the companies involved are legitimate.
However, LaLiga continues to press for clarification on the origin of the funds. Alleging that it could be a maneuver to circumvent the financial restrictions imposed on Barça.

The CSD Has the Final Say
Now, the case is in the hands of the Higher Sports Council. It must evaluate the complaint and determine whether Barça has acted within the law.
Meanwhile, Dani Olmo continues to play normally. But his future could be affected if the CSD rules that the registration did not meet the established requirements.

Barça, which has already experienced similar episodes with other financial operations in the past, hopes that the matter will be solved without affecting stability.
But one thing is certain: the Dani Olmo saga is not over yet.
