Official, Ferran Torres Has a New Team: Sold for Over 30m to a European Top Team

The Barça striker has two interesting offers from Serie A that could make him consider leaving Barça.

If there's something Hansi Flick has shown he does very well, it's bringing out the best version of each player on his roster at this point in the current season. The German coach has given a new face to players like Raphinha, Lamine Yamal, Íñigo Martínez, and many others. Evidently,  Ferran Torres is one of those players on this list knowing he's experiencing his best moment since he arrived at Barça.

The Valencian striker is thriving with the Catalan club's jersey after many years marked by questioning and inconsistent performance. However, little by little, Ferran has been turning criticism into applause and today his situation is completely different. However, his good moment could also lead him to leave Barça in search of a new adventure: two major Italian teams are vying for him and he's considering it.

Ferran Torres, More Coveted Than Ever

Ferran Torres's good season so far under Hansi Flick's orders on the bench has sparked the interest of several European clubs. Despite the good performance the forward is showing on the field, he remains a substitute for Robert Lewandowski. This is something the interested teams want to take advantage of, as they are willing to offer him a leading role somewhere other than Barça.

According to the latest information circulating around the Catalan club, two historic Serie A teams have set their sights on Ferran. These are Juventus and AC Milan, who have submitted their initial proposals to Barça's offices. Initially, everything seems to indicate that both exceed 30 million euros.

Strategic Signing

From Italy, they assure that both teams see Ferran Torres as a key reinforcement to enhance their respective projects for the next season. Juventus, which continues to renew its team, appreciates the Valencian forward's versatility in attack. Meanwhile, AC Milan knows it has had offensive consistency issues this season and believes Ferran Torres can make a drastic change to that situation.

The truth is that, although Hansi Flick has given Ferran Torres prominence at certain times, Barça doesn't view a possible sale unfavorably. This, as long as offers that interest them and exceed 30 million euros come in. The competition in the Catalan club's attack makes it difficult for Ferran to have the regularity he might expect in other teams.
