Rejects Borussia Dortmund and Milan to join Barça: Laporta signs him, he's TOP

A world-class soccer player is doing everything to sign with Barcelona

Barça's sports management is in full swing in the last days of the January market to improve Flick's team for the second half of the season. There's still time to bring in new players, and Barça is looking to take advantage of these remaining 10 days of the market to sign players.

The club's priority is to find a forward who can give Raphinha, Lamine Yamal, and Robert Lewandowski a break, and at the same time, provide them with competition. Deco and his team are working against the clock to meet the coach's needs, but also considering the financial constraints they face.

Barça Seeks Revenue

However, one of Barça's major challenges in this market is the need to sell players to make new transfers. Although the club has managed to reach the 1:1 Fair Play, which allows it to spend for every sale it makes, it's crucial that departures are finalized to generate revenue.

This situation means the club can't make significant investments until it manages to bring in money from player sales. Therefore, with limited time, Barça's sports management must find a way out for some of the less-used players to free up funds for new additions.

The Hottest Selling Points

In this context, Barcelona has several selling options, and the clearest is Ansu Fati, who hasn't managed to regain his best form under Hansi Flick. However, despite his undeniable talent, his high salary is an obstacle to his departure. Barça is willing to listen to offers for him, but the player's high salary complicates negotiations, making his transfer a difficult operation.

Another viable option for Barcelona is the sale of Óscar Mingueza, who currently plays for Celta de Vigo. The Catalan defender could change teams this January, and Barça would benefit from owning 50% of the rights over a future sale of Óscar Mingueza. If a sale is finalized, the club could bring in a considerable amount, allowing it to strengthen the team.

Rejects Competition to Sign for Barça: Now It's Laporta's Turn

If Barça manages to make any of these sales, the most likely transfer would be Marcus Rashford. According to various reports, Rashford has rejected offers from teams like Borussia Dortmund and AC Milan to prioritize FC Barcelona.

The English forward is looking for a change of scenery, and his profile would fit Barça's needs, as he could compete with the starters. In other words, if Barcelona manages to generate the necessary revenue through sales like those of Ansu Fati or Mingueza, it could finalize Rashford's arrival. The Englishman's addition would be great news for the Catalan team, which seeks to win more titles besides the Super Cup.
