Napoli's forward is leaving for Saudi soccer after receiving an absolutely irresistible offer

The transfer market keeps producing unexpected moves, and one of the biggest names of the summer is Victor Osimhen. The Napoli striker from Italy has been on the way out for weeks, and now his future seems to be moving further away from European soccer. Al Hilal from Saudi Arabia has taken a decisive step and would already have an agreement with the Italian club.

The Saudi League club has sped up in recent hours and, according to various sources, the transfer would already be finalized, with only administrative details and the official announcement remaining.Al Hilal has put  on the table an amount very close to €100 million, a strong proposal that Napoli couldn't refuse. This way, one of the most sought-after strikers on the market will head to Saudi Arabia.

Meanwhile, other European giants keep watching with resignation as one of their targets slips away.Bayern Munich saw Osimhen as the perfect striker to lead their new project. Vincent Kompany, the Belgian coach, has him on his list of priorities, but he hasn't arrived in time, nor have Bayer Leverkusen or Galatasaray, who wanted to keep him permanently.

Saudi Arabia puts up a fortune

The huge move by Al Hilal in the negotiations has completely changed the scenario,Osimhen would have already said "yes" to the Saudi proposal,  lured by a multi-million contract. In principle, he will sign until 2029 and will become one of the highest-paid footballers in the world. Napoli, meanwhile, accepted the deal after seeing the footballer drop his performance last season.

Curiously, Osimhen's improvement in performance came after his temporary move to Türkiye with the Nigerian national team. There, he regained his form, sharpened his aim, and showed a level that recalled the striker who excelled in the "Scudetto" season. That small uptick has convinced Al Hilal, who had been following him for months.

Improving in the team

With this move, the Arab club further strengthens their attacking line, which already includes names like Milinkovic Savic, Mitrovic, or Malcom. Osimhen's arrival fits the aggressive signing policy of Saudi soccer, which keeps investing large sums to attract global talent. This bet is already bearing fruit both in sports and commercially.

In Europe, the Nigerian's departure leaves a significant gap; teams like Bayern and Leverkusen will have to look for alternatives. Chelsea and PSG had also closely followed his situation. However, all have been surprised by the speed of the Saudi move.

Osimhen's transfer to Al Hilal is expected to become official within hours. The striker would already be preparing his trip to undergo a medical and sign his new contract. A blockbuster signing that shakes up the international scene.
