Confirmed, Manchester United will pay the €150M to Barça: Flick's favorite is leaving

One of its stars is being courted by Manchester United, which would be willing to put up €150 million

The transfer market continues to shake up the major European clubs.  Manchester United has decided to launch a multi-million euro offensive for one of FC Barcelona's most important players. According to sources close to the Catalan club, the offer rises to €150 million (about $163 million), a figure that shakes the foundations of Camp Nou.

Barça's sporting management isn't closing the door on this deal, even though the player is getting minutes and enjoys a prominent role. However, the club's financial situation forces it to listen to proposals of this magnitude.  LaLiga's new Financial Fair Play  also puts pressure, Laportaand Deco have met in recent hours to assess the impact of a possible sale.

The footballer in question is Raphinha, the Brazilian winger who arrived from Leeds United. Although his performance has been inconsistent, his ability to break through and his tactical commitment have earned him a place in the squad.  His value has remained high in the Premier League, and United believes he can be a key piece to relaunch its sports project.

Amorim wants him

The operation would be led by the top management of the "Red Devils," but it has also received the blessing of Rúben Amorim, the Portuguese coach who manages the Old Trafford bench. Amorim values the player's profile for his offensive versatility and his ability to break lines.  He believes he can be the ideal complement for Bruno Fernandes and Matheus Cunha, its recent signing.

At FC Barcelona, Hansi Flick has tried to close the debate; in private, the German coach was blunt: "Raphinha is a Barça player and I count on him." However, his stance isn't definitive; at Can Barça, they know that no figure is untouchable if a nine-figure offer arrives. Even more so if the footballer hasn't managed to establish himself as an undisputed starter.

150 million offer

The player's camp hasn't confirmed any movement, but neither has it denied the existence of interest. The Brazilian is focused on preseason, but he's aware that his future is being discussed in the offices.  In addition, his agent keeps a good relationship with several English clubs.

FC Barcelona doesn't want to sell at a low price, but a €150 million ($163 million) proposal could mark a turning point in the season's planning. With that money, several registrations could be unlocked, signings could be completed, and key pieces of Flick's project could be renewed. Everything will depend on whether Manchester United formalizes the offer in the coming days.

Raphinha is under contract until 2028, but his story as a Barça player could end sooner than desired. If it happens, it would be one of the most expensive sales in the club's history.  For now, the Brazilian continues to train as usual, but the market remains open, and in Camp Nou offices, nothing is ruled out.
