'He only knows how to party': Flick, Pedri and company are fed up with him, goodbye Barça

In the Barça offices, they are very close to announcing a necessary farewell to adjust the finances

Barcelona continues to take firm steps in its plan to lighten the squad and generate financial resources. The sports management, led by Joan Laporta and Deco, is clear that in order to bring in new top-level signings, it will be necessary to finalize some strategic sales in the coming weeks. In that context, the figure of Hansi Flick is also highlighted, who, along with his coaching staff, has significant decision-making power regarding the squad.

The financial situation continues to affect every move, both the release of wage mass and the inflow of revenue are key to greenlighting priority operations. In this context, players like Oriol Romeu, Héctor Fort, Ferran Torres, and Ronald Araujo have been the focus of rumors, although not all cases are progressing at the same pace. Fortunately for Barça, Joan Laporta has managed to close one of the club's most desired sales.

The next to leave Camp Nou

One of the deals that is already closed is Pablo Torre's departure. The young Cantabrian midfielder has agreed to leave Barça permanently after a season in which he barely featured for the first team. Despite Flick's praise for his attitude and performance in training, the competition in his position has left him without a place in the rotation.

Pedri, Gavi, Fermín López, and Dani Olmo occupy the main roles in midfield, the possible arrival of new attacking reinforcements would only make things more difficult for Pablo Torre. For this reason, both the Catalan club and the footballer himself have agreed that the best thing for his development is a change of scenery in search of more playing time.

Pablo Torre's destination will be Mallorca, which has reached an agreement with Barça for his transfer. The deal includes a buy-back option in favor of the blaugranas and a percentage of a future sale. The idea is to ensure that the Catalan club can bring the player back if he fulfills his potential at his new team.

The midfielder also considered offers from teams like Valencia, Betis, Villarreal, or even Feyenoord from the Netherlands, but he ultimately chose to continue in La Liga. Mallorca's sporting project and the possibility of getting minutes were decisive factors in his decision.

Necessary move for Barça

This sale is a relief for the blaugranas' finances and opens up room to finalize new signings in the coming weeks. With Joan Laporta and Deco leading the negotiations, Barça continues working to balance the squad and provide Flick with the necessary pieces to compete at the highest level.

Meanwhile, Pablo Torre is starting a new chapter in his career. All of this with the goal of establishing himself in the First Division and proving that he has the level to return to Camp Nou someday.
