It's confirmed, he's going to Germany: Deco kicks Flick's favorite kid out of Barça, goodbye

The Portuguese has already looked for a way out

Last season has been the confirmation that Barça can compete at the highest level with a young squad. Lamine Yamal, Pau Cubarsí, and Alejandro Balde have been the standout names of a rejuvenated Barça, under Flick's leadership. With all this, the team had a historic season by winning the national treble.

Lamine Yamal has been one of the biggest sensations in European soccer, dazzling with his boldness on the wing. Cubarsí has settled into the defense as if he had spent years at the elite level, while Balde has regained prominence and physical form, showing that he belongs at the top level.

La Masia, pillar of a solid and hopeful project

These three names are no coincidence. All of them are products of La Masia, the academy that has brought so much success to Barça. They're not alone, since, around them are Gavi, Marc Bernal, or Marc Casadó, who are also expected to be the driving force of the club in the coming years.

At a time when many clubs are looking for multi-million signings, Barça shows that it's possible to build a competitive team from within.

Not everyone makes it

However, not all reserve team players manage to make the definitive leap to the first team. A recent case is Noah Darvich. The talented German midfielder, who arrived as a promising player with enormous potential, hasn't managed to establish himself despite being favored by Flick.

Darvich has had minutes with Barça Atlètic, but he hasn't managed to stand out at the level that was desired. The competition, the pressure, and the club's demands aren't easy to handle, and the young footballer has fallen somewhat behind. For this reason, the club would have already made the decision to let him leave.

Destination Stuttgart

Noah Darvich had a contract until 2026, but his departure is imminent. According to German media, the footballer will leave for Stuttgart in the coming days. The deal would be closed for a low amount, a symbolic figure that shows Barça prefers to free up space and trust other talents who are better suited to the project.

Even though he didn't succeed in Barcelona, Darvich remains a player with ability. In Germany, they know him well and believe that in a more favorable context he can reach his potential. Meanwhile, at Barça, they remain focused on strengthening their academy and giving opportunities to those who've managed to stand out.
