Ansu Fati Isn't the Only One, 3 Barça Players Lash Out at Flick: 'He Treats Us Badly'

Internal Tensions Rise in the Barça Locker Room, Where Young Promises Complain About Flick's Unequal Treatment

At FC Barcelona, everything seems to be in order on the outside. The team performs well, the results are favorable, and the project with Hansi Flick at the helm is solidifying. But not everyone is satisfied.

Inside the locker room, discontent is growing and starting to become noticeable. Some young players, with potential and attitude, feel they are not considered by the coach. What started as simple frustration is now a problem being discussed behind the scenes.

Without Minutes or Confidence

The main complaint is not just the lack of minutes; it goes further. What bothers them is the double standard: receiving praise from the coaching staff but not seeing a single minute of play. Not in decided matches, nor when there are injuries or suspensions.

The affected players train daily with commitment and attitude, waiting for an opportunity that never comes.  That wait has become unbearable for some, who have lost patience. They are starting to feel they are losing a key year for their careers.

From the beginning, Flick has bet on a very defined group of players. He almost always trusts the same ones, leaving little room for rotation or surprises. If a footballer is not in his plans from the start, they rarely make it later.

This "closed block" policy has left out young players who, due to performance or potential, could have had more prominence. The German coach's management has been effective collectively, but it raises doubts regarding individual treatment.

Ignored Promises

In recent weeks, the atmosphere has become tense among some of the less regular players. They haven't spoken out publicly, but they have within the club. They have conveyed their discontent to the sports management, which is already studying possible solutions for the summer.

Unlike other young players like Lamine Yamal or Cubarsí, who have received trust and minutes, there are players who feel completely ignored. The difference in treatment is, according to their environment, "unjustified."

The situation is being closely monitored from the offices. Deco is aware of the problem, and although he respects Flick's sporting decisions, he doesn't want to lose talents that could have a future at the club. If they are not given a chance, they could end up leaving.

Loans or even transfers are not ruled out if the situation doesn't improve. What is clear is that Barça can't afford to continue ignoring players who are committed and eager to contribute.  Especially if the club has invested in their development.

Three Names That Say Enough

So far, the only case that had come to light was Ansu Fati's, whose situation is already known to everyone. He has gone from being the club's great hope to not counting at all for the coach. Although Flick warned him in December, the player is still waiting for a gesture that doesn't come.

But there are two other names also fed up with the treatment received. The first is Pablo Torre, a creative midfielder who has barely been considered since the coach's arrival. The second is Pau Víctor, a forward who excelled in preseason but has been completely forgotten during the season.

All three share the same feeling: they are not valued nor given a real option. If the situation doesn't change, they have already made it clear they don't want to repeat another year like this.
