A Barça with two faces that needs to find consistency to aspire to everything

Barça started the second half of the competition with another draw and no longer has any room for error to win La Liga.

Flick's team got stuck again at the Coliseum, leaving the leadership on a silver platter for Real Madrid, which is now 7 points ahead of the blaugranas in the standings. A Barça that didn't play badly against Getafe couldn't get past a 1-1 draw, complicating even more their attempt to catch up with the top two teams in the league standings.

Solutions to Problems.

Now the German coach faces the biggest problem of the season so far. Motivating the players to make them believe there's still plenty of time to start a comeback in the domestic competition. With 18 matches to play, Flick's team needs to self-criticize and find a problem that's only occurring in the League.

It's curious to see how Barça at the beginning of the season had La Liga as their favorite competition, thrashing all their rivals at home and away. It was after a match against Real Sociedad in San Sebastian that Flick's team lost 1-0, and that great streak suddenly ended. Only 6 points out of 32 possible is a clear diagnosis that Barça lacks some confidence in matches where they get stuck.

A Different Story Outside the Domestic Competition.

However, in other competitions, Flick's team has managed to reach an astonishing cruising speed.

A Barça with two faces that undoubtedly needs a change of mindset if they want to win all possible titles this season. Something that has already started on the right track after being crowned champion of the Supercopa de España by thrashing Real Madrid in Saudi Arabia.

In the Champions League, it's more of the same. A Barça that is in second place with only one match lost and with the qualification for the round of 16 almost secured.

To finish with a good dynamic also in the Copa del Rey, where Flick's team is in the Quarterfinals to face Valencia at the Mestalla Stadium.

Plenty of Time for the Comeback.

There's plenty of time, and even more play. Flick's team has managed in most matches to redeem themselves with a game that has amazed all the fans.

Winning all the titles is very complicated and is only within reach of the best teams in the history of soccer, but with Flick on the bench, anything can happen. We'll see if this Barça is capable of achieving a comeback in the League that would be one of the most epic remembered in the history of modern soccer.
