Official, Pablo Torre has a new team: betrayal, he's joining Barça's biggest rival

A Barça footballer is very likely to leave the club and he has no shortage of offers

Pablo Torre's future at FC Barcelona is hanging by a thread. Despite arriving in 2022 as one of the most promising young talents in Spanish soccer, the Cantabrian hasn't managed to establish himself in the first team. The expectations caused by his signing from Racing de Santander contrast with the current reality: few minutes, loan spells without continuity, and increasingly distant prominence at Barça.

With Hansi Flick's arrival on the Barça bench, Pablo Torre was hoping for a new opportunity to earn a spot in the first team. However, the German coach has been clear with him from the start: he won't have many opportunities. That lack of trust, combined with a season with very little prominence, has pushed the attacking midfielder to reconsider his future, and he already has several offers on the table.

Offers in line

Beyond the player's stance, Barça also knows it's time to find him a way out, but without closing the door to a possible return. Deco, leading the sporting management, has already started talks with several clubs interested in signing the player. The intention is clear: avoid another loan that doesn't give him continuity and close a transfer with a buy-back clause.

In that scenario, there is no shortage of offers. In La Liga, Valencia, Osasuna, and Sevilla have inquired about him, although all of them prioritize a loan, something Barça is currently ruling out.

Abroad, Porto appears as a more concrete option. The Portuguese club is willing to negotiate a deal with conditions that allow Barça to keep control over the player's future. Even from Germany, Bayer Leverkusen have shown interest, although they haven't yet made a formal offer.

An exit, a goal

The club's position is firm: Pablo Torre needs quality minutes and an environment where he can grow. That's why, beyond letting him go, the goal is for his development to continue without Barça completely losing sight of him. It would be a formula similar to other recent cases, with a buy-back option included and constant monitoring by the sporting department.

Meanwhile, the footballer keeps calm. He has asked to focus exclusively on the national team before making a decision, although his camp is already analyzing the offers coming in. At 22 years old, Pablo Torre remains a bet for the future, and although his path at Barça hasn't been the desired one, he could have a new chapter as a Barça player.
