Official, Barça's Most Demanded Sale Is Closed: Surprise, Ansu Fati Is Leaving For...

The young Barça striker isn't in Hansi Flick's plans, and his future seems to be far from FC Barcelona

For a long time now, FC Barcelona no longer see Ansu Fati as one of their greatest future prospects. Despite being pointed out on more than one occasion as the natural heir to Lionel Messi at the Catalan club, Ansu has lost prominence at just 22 years old. It's no wonder: as of today, the forward is not in Hansi Flick's plans, and there are many reasons behind his decline.

Constant injuries, lack of competitive rhythm, and loss of self-confidence have led Ansu Fati to a critical point in his career. For this reason, Barça's sports management, led by Deco, has begun to explore options to define his future next transfer market. Although his talent and potential are recognized, circumstances have changed: the club needs immediate solutions, and Ansu, as of today, doesn't represent a guarantee.

Next Destination Sealed

According to the latest information circulating around the Catalan team, among the possible exits being considered is the Premier League as an attractive scenario. Although there is no formal proposal, several English clubs have inquired about his situation to relaunch his career. In the player's environment, a loan or a permanent transfer is seen favorably if the sports project offers him minutes and confidence.

Ansu, who already knows what it's like to play outside Camp Nou from his brief stint at Brighton, would be fully willing to try his luck once again in England. The Premier League, both for its pace and exposure, could be the ideal context for the forward to regain his form and approach the level that once amazed the world. In fact, Ansu was one of the most important promises in European soccer, and he seeks to shine again.

Barça Opens the Door for Him

In Barça's offices, it is assumed that the best decision for all parties is to seek an exit for him. Although there was hope that he could fully recover, the passage of time and lack of opportunities have ultimately cooled Deco's bet on him. Thus, the Catalan club is considering both a loan and a transfer.

Evidently, the club wants any operation to have significant economic value. If it's a transfer, Barça will not give him away. And if a loan is opted for, a destination will be sought where Ansu can have quality prominence and gain minutes on the field.
