Official, Laporta reaches an agreement with Betis: Surprise, he's leaving Barça this January

Both Joan Laporta and Deco have communicated with Real Betis and are defining an exit.

The winter transfer market has brought a new surprise for the higher-ups at FC Barcelona. According to the latest information circulating around the club, Betis and Barça may soon finalize a new agreement  taking advantage of the good relations between the parties. In fact, the harmony between both entities has allowed a long list of players to move from one team to another.

In that sense, there are many recent examples. Juan Miranda, Chadi Riad, Abde, or Vitor Roque himself, who is among the most interesting in recent transfer markets, make up the roster. However, everything indicates that a new negotiation is underway  between FC Barcelona and Real Betis, whose positions continue to converge over this young culé talent.

Long and Extensive Meeting

With the winter transfer market underway, a new gem from Barça's first team is quickly approaching the exit ramp. He's not satisfied with his role under Hansi Flick's orders and believes he deserves more opportunities on the field. Considering he left a good impression in the preseason, he needs more prominence, and if he doesn't find it at Barça, he wants to do so at another team in Spain.

Therefore, Real Betis has emerged as an attractive option for both the player and the culé sports management. The latest information suggests that Deco has held a meeting of up to two hours with executives of the verdiblanco team and they are close to finalizing agreements. The higher-ups of the club have agreed to listen to their requests and continue to bring positions closer with the team led by Manuel Pellegrini.

A "forgotten" Soccerer

The next Barça player who could join the ranks of Real Betis and be part of this long list is Pau Víctor. Barça's recent problems with registering the young culé striker have led to the belief that he has no more time to lose. Therefore, a loan could be crucial for Pau not to lose his competitive rhythm in La Liga.

Manuel Pellegrini, for his part, is not fully satisfied with the goal-scoring contribution of his strikers. In that sense, having Pau Víctor would be extremely positive for him and his coaching staff. Real Betis is pushing, and Barça could bring the negotiations to a successful conclusion.
