Laporta doesn't even want to see him and gives him away to Betis: he has already said goodbye, farewell Barça

The Polish forward expects a player to arrive to compete for the position next season at Barça

Pau Víctor has stopped being just a promise to become a reality; his season at Barça has been quite interesting, and now LaLiga clubs are fighting for him. Among them, two direct rivals stand out where he could grow: Real Betis and Sevilla FC. Both Andalusian clubs have inquired about his situation, and they are clear that if Barcelona doesn't give him continuity in the first team, he'll leave.

The player, only 22 years old, has been one of the main protagonists of the reserve team. His performance under Hansi Flick has drawn praise both inside and outside the club. He has been important at certain moments of the season and, although his natural position is as a forward, he has also shown the ability to adapt to other attacking roles.  His versatility is highly valued in the offices at Benito Villamarín and Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán.

Betis see him as a future replacement to strengthen their attack. Pellegrini needs fresh blood up front and Pau Víctor fits what they're looking for: young and with potential.  Meanwhile, at Sevilla, Víctor Orta has taken note of his situation. The sporting director from Seville wants to bet on national talent and sees Pau as a market opportunity they can't let slip away.

Flick accepts his arrival

The big news has come from Camp Nou itself, Hansi Flick has already given the green light to his addition to the first team. The German coach at Barça believes he can be very useful in the rotation, especially considering the large number of matches Barça will play in 2025/26. Flick has asked for footballers with a versatile profile, and Pau more than meets that requirement; he's a player who doesn't take up a non-EU spot and who knows the club perfectly.

In the club's offices, they know his situation is delicate. Pau Víctor is on the verge of consolidating himself and needs quality minutes. The first team's coaching staff believe he can get them, but they don't want to promise anything. If he stays, he'll fight to be part of Flick's plans. If he leaves, it'll only be on loan and with a clause that allows Barça to bring him back.

Sevilla and Betis after Pau Víctor

The competition is fierce. At Real Betis and Sevilla FC, they're promising him immediate prominence. In Barcelona, the challenge is greater, but so is the reward. Pau Víctor will have to make a key decision for his career. What is clear is that he doesn't lack offers.

His breakthrough has come at the perfect time, and now several clubs dream of having him in their squad. Two of them are the Andalusian teams, who see him as a good addition to their squads.
