Confirmed, Pau Víctor already has a new team: surprise, he's joining Spain's top club

Barça's sporting management has found a destination for Pau Víctor, and he will leave in the next transfer window

With sports planning underway, FC Barcelona is already outlining the next moves for the first team's roster. The Barça sports management, led by Deco, is clear that some of the young talents will have to leave in search of playing time to keep developing. In this regard, the attack and the goalkeeping positions are two of those with the most expected moves.

The lack of opportunities in the first team has left several academy players, such as Pau Víctor, waiting for a loan. Meanwhile, Joan García's arrival is gaining momentum as a signing for the goalkeeping position. Although these two operations are separate, a new proposal has emerged in the Barça offices that could bring a move involving both players.

The market tightens

The main destination for Pau Víctor, at this point, seems to be Valencia. The young forward, with no place in Barça's attack, would go on loan to Mestalla seeking a leading role in La Liga. Carlos Corberán has approved his arrival, so the deal is moving quickly and has the approval of all parties involved.

However, this move isn't isolated: according to the latest reports, Barça are also considering loaning Joan García to the Valencia squad if the latter joins the blaugrana side. Mestalla needs a goalkeeper due to Mamardashvili's imminent move to Liverpool, and the connection between both clubs could facilitate this double deal. On one hand, Valencia strengthen for next season and, on the other, Barça keep track of their young players' development.

A clear strategy for the future

In the offices of the Catalan club, they're not only thinking about the present, but also about how to help talents who don't have guaranteed minutes in the squad grow. Pau Víctor has been one of the forwards with the greatest potential in the academy, and the club trust that a good season in Valencia will prepare him.

The good relationship between the two entities, in any case, is key to moving negotiations forward quickly. For Barça, the opportunity to keep developing players in competitive environments is very valuable. For Valencia, it's a way to renew their squad with footballers who arrive eager to show their worth.
