Tremendous Mess, Flick Kicks Pedri and Gavi's Best Friend Out of Barça: They Threaten to Leave

The player isn't in FC Barcelona's plans despite the intervention of some of his teammates.

Hansi Flick continues shaping FC Barcelona's squad for the next season, and the German coach has made several important decisions in recent weeks. Some of them are controversial within the locker room, as his goal is to optimize the team's performance and adapt the squad to his playing system. One of the measures that has caused discontent among some of the team's heavyweights is the departure of a young talent.

This footballer, despite having great potential, doesn't fit into the plans of the German coach of FC Barcelona. Hansi Flick has assessed his performance and considers that he is not a key piece for his tactical scheme and is only useful as a rotation player. The discontent in the locker room is evident, players like  Pedri and Gavi  have expressed their dissatisfaction with this decision.

They believe that their teammate contributes a lot to the team; however, the coach is clear: the priority is to strengthen the team with players who fit his idea of play. In this case, the best option is a departure for next summer so he can enjoy the minutes he can't have at the blaugrana club. Deco was the one who closed the door on his departure this winter market, considering him an important piece within the squad and the rotation.

Flick Doesn't Count on Him

The player in question has been used in several rotations, but he is becoming less prominent. Flick  not only counts on him little for the remainder of the season, but his situation will worsen in the next campaign. Therefore, the club has already informed him that they will seek an exit for him next transfer market.

Among the options that Pablo Torre is considering, his desire is to return to Racing de Santander, his original club, if they achieve promotion to the First Division. This possibility appeals to him, as it would allow him to regain his form in a familiar environment. However, if the Cantabrian team doesn't achieve promotion, his favorite alternative is Girona.

Michel Wants to Sign Him

Michel already wanted to bring him back in this past January market and the Madrid native won't miss the opportunity if it arises. His playing style would fit well with his characteristics, and he could have more opportunities than at Barça. Additionally, Girona, with its growth in LaLiga, has become an attractive club for footballers looking to establish themselves in the elite.

Meanwhile, FC Barcelona wouldn't mind a loan or even a transfer if the offer is interesting. The club knows that the player has quality, but his fit in Flick's scheme is complicated. Now, it's just a matter of defining his future and finding the best option for all parties involved.
