Liverpool trembles over Raphinha's monumental anger: huge mess, goodbye Barça

The German has received some unpleasant news about one of his team's players for June

Luis Díaz has been one of the most talked-about names in FC Barcelona's offices in recent weeks; his profile fits perfectly with what Flick is looking for. The German coach is mainly seeking dribbling, goals, speed, and experience at the highest level. The Colombian forward is willing to force his departure from Liverpool if Barça makes a move. He has even made it clear that his greatest desire is to share a locker room with Pedri and Lamine Yamal.

Those close to him say that Luis Díaz sees Barça as a unique opportunity. He believes his style fits the culé philosophy. He dreams of shining at Camp Nou, playing in the same attacking line as the club's two gems.  For him, playing alongside Yamal and Pedri  would be like touching the sky. However, not everything is as simple as it seems.

The same enthusiasm isn't felt in the blaugrana locker room. Some key players don't look favorably on his arrival, especially those who play in his position. Ferran Torres and Raphinha believe no one else is needed. Both feel they've performed when given continuity and think they deserve more prominence instead of competing with new signings.

They don't want more signings in attack

Both the Valencian and the Brazilian understand they've been key in important moments. Ferran finished the season in great form. Meanwhile, Raphinha, despite injuries, has always delivered. The arrival of a winger like Luis Díaz is seen as a direct threat. That could generate internal tensions just as Hansi Flick is trying to unite the group and build from stability.

Additionally, certain reservations about his signing are leaking from within the locker room. They don't doubt his quality, but they do question the context in which he'd arrive. The Colombian would join Barça as a star and with a high salary, something that wouldn't sit well in a squad where many have made efforts to adapt to the salary cap. Financial Fair Play continues to guide decisions, and it's not ruled out that to register Díaz, a starter may have to be sold.

Deco has made the decision

Deco and Laporta are still working quietly, and the sporting director values Díaz's profile very positively. He believes Díaz would raise the competitive level of the attack. But he also knows he can't afford a move that would break internal balance. The club is studying loan formulas with a purchase option or a swap deal involving players not in Flick's plans.

What is clear is that Luis Díaz wants to wear the blaugrana jersey. He has rejected offers from the Premier League and from Arabia to wait for Barça.  His dream may remain just that: a dream. If there's no consensus internally, it's unlikely such a major operation will be activated. Hansi Flick will have the final say, but the peace of the blaugrana locker room also matters.
