Betis about to sign Barça's top gem: he can't stand Ferran Torres

Hansi Flick opens the door to a brand-new signing for the Catalan club ahead of preseason

Hansi Flick is still working on planning Barça's first team alongside his coaching staff and the club's sporting management for next season. With a demanding preseason ahead, the German coach has started to define which players he'll count on for his project and who will need to look for a way out. The board, led by Joan Laporta and Deco, is in sync with the blaugrana coach to speed up the exit operation and shape a more competitive and balanced squad.

Summer, in fact, has started with major moves in the FC Barcelona market. After the arrival of goalkeeper Joan García, the priority now is to strengthen the attack and cover key positions. However, Flick is also analyzing the newcomers, evaluating whether they have the level to contribute immediately or if they'll need minutes elsewhere before returning to Barcelona.

Recent signing, but in doubt

One of the most striking cases is Roony Bardghji: the young Swedish winger, who arrives from Copenhagen, landed in Barcelona with the label of talent. His technical qualities and boldness at just 18 years old caught the attention of the club's scouts, who recommended his immediate signing for a really low price. According to recent reports, the deal cost around two million euros, a figure the club considers viable for a bet on the future.

However, Bardghji doesn't have a guaranteed spot in the squad for next season. Flick wasn't convinced by the deal from the start and prefers to focus resources on signing a top-level striker, such as Luis Díaz or Marcus Rashford. In that sense, the German coach believes the Swede should have a gradual adaptation process, possibly away from Camp Nou, to prevent a lack of minutes from stalling his progress.

A loan in mind

The presence of young players in La Masia makes things even more complicated for Bardghji. Flick wants to see them in action during preseason and decide who can be part of the rotations. Meanwhile, several clubs have already shown interest in taking in the Swede on loan, an option that would allow Barça to make sure he keeps getting quality minutes.

The final decision will be made in the coming days, but Barça believe a loan could be the ideal formula for Bardghji to gain confidence and more experience. Although his arrival was seen as a strategic move by the board, the young striker will have to wait for his moment.
