Neither Kubo nor Zubimendi: Barça is going all in for Real Sociedad's best player

The sports management has added another attacking player to the list

Barça is planning for next season, and one of the main objectives is to strengthen the attack. Currently, Flick has only four strikers: Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha, Lamine Yamal, and Ferran Torres.

The coach wants to have more options up front, especially with a season that promises to be demanding in terms of the schedule. Flick is looking for profiles that can complement both on the wing and in more central positions, aware that a short squad can put performance at risk at key moments.

Luis Díaz and Marcus Rashford, on the list

Among the main options being considered by the sporting management are Luis Díaz and Marcus Rashford. The Colombian from Liverpool is one of Barça's biggest desires. His dribbling ability, defensive intensity, and goal-scoring instinct fit the profile Flick is looking for, who highly values his versatility.

Meanwhile, Marcus Rashford is another alternative on the table. The Manchester United forward has had an inconsistent season even at Aston Villa, but his talent remains unquestionable. Flick believes that in a new context like Barça, Rashford could reach his best version.

Ivan Perisic is the option proposed by Flick

Additionally, Barça is also considering alternatives that bring experience and immediate performance. In this regard, Ivan Perisic appears as a more than interesting option. The Croatian's contract with PSV is ending, so he could arrive as a free agent.

Perisic has been a direct proposal from Flick, who knows him well from his time in the Bundesliga. His profile as an experienced winger, with the ability to play on both flanks and even as a wing-back at specific moments, could be a valuable addition.

Mikel Oyarzabal, a national bet

Finally, according to market journalist Ekrem Konur, Barça is also closely following Mikel Oyarzabal. The Basque striker is highly regarded for his tactical intelligence, his ability to link up play, and his defensive commitment.

Oyarzabal represents a national option, with knowledge of La Liga and a quick adaptation to Barça's style. In addition, his versatility allows him to play both as a winger and as a center forward, making him an ideal piece to give Lewandowski a rest.
