Wirtz Already Has a New Team, He Has Confessed and It Shocks Barça: 'I'm Going to the...'

Florian Wirtz is of interest to Barça's sports management, and Deco remains alert to his situation at Leverkusen

Florian Wirtz has established himself as one of the biggest promises in European soccer. At just 21 years old, the German midfielder is a key piece in Xabi Alonso's Bayer Leverkusen and one of the most sought-after players by major European clubs. It's no wonder: the Spanish coach's team has surprised the entire elite with its great performance, and Wirtz has been the standout player of the German club.

However, Wirtz is not willing to move to just any club. His priority is not only to make a leap to a more renowned team but also to ensure that his new destination allows him to compete for top-level titles. For this reason, the German midfielder has already rejected significant offers, and Deco remains alert to his future.

Closes the Door to a Major English Club

According to the latest information circulating regarding the transfer market, Manchester United was the first team to make a formal offer for Florian Wirtz. The English side is convinced that his talent can be key in the club's rebuilding. However, the German decided to decline the proposal, arguing that Manchester United's project doesn't guarantee the competitiveness he seeks in Europe.

While it is true that Manchester United is a historic club, its recent performance in Europe has not been enough to convince the midfielder. Wirtz has made it clear that his priority is sporting growth, and he wants to join a team that not only gives him prominence but also allows him to fight for important titles. In this sense, this approach has further sparked the interest of other clubs, including FC Barcelona.

Uncertain Future but Full of Options

Despite the great interest he generates, Florian Wirtz is in no hurry to leave Bayer Leverkusen. The German feels comfortable in the team led by Xabi Alonso and knows that he still has room to continue growing before making the leap to a bigger club. Meanwhile, Leverkusen is looking to renew his contract to secure him and ensure that, when the time comes for his departure, it will be under favorable conditions for the German club.

Wirtz's final decision will depend on several factors: the attractiveness of the sports project, the possibility of competing for titles, and the prominence he will receive. The only certainty is that his talent will take him to the elite of European soccer sooner rather than later. The big question is which team will ultimately secure his services.
