Neither Isak nor Gyökeres, Barça Signs Europe's Best: 'better Than Lewandowski'

In Barça's sports management, they are still looking for reliable forwards, and Flick already has his desired star

Hansi Flick's Barça continues to achieve great results match after match and the club's higher-ups are very pleased with the first team's performance. However, this doesn't mean that FC Barcelona's management isn't already working on planning for the next season. One of Flick's priorities is to strengthen the forward line with a player who can compete with Robert Lewandowski.

Both the German and his technical team are aware that while the Barça squad is good, there are still weaknesses that need considerable reinforcement. In fact, there are positions that need more adjustments than others. One of these is the offensive line, knowing that Lewandowski will soon turn 37 years old (37 años) and he is not eternal.

A Bargain in the Market

According to the latest information circulating around Barça, Hansi Flick already knows his desired reinforcement, and it is a star from Serie A. Juventus has decided to put Dusan Vlahovic up for sale, a forward that Barça had on their radar not long ago. The German coach insists on signing him considering that now, given the striker's situation, he could arrive at a much more affordable price.

Vlahovic has lost prominence at Juventus and the Bianconeri team plans to receive around 30 million euros for him. Although the Serbian was the star signing of the Italian team a few years ago, his performance hasn't been as expected. Now Juventus seeks to cash in to make other top-level signings.

FC Barcelona's Offensive

In this scenario, both Flick and the Barça sports management see a unique market opportunity. Vlahovic is a forward with characteristics that fit the German coach's scheme. After all, the Serbian is a young, powerful striker with goals and experience in one of the top five leagues in the world.

Thus, Deco is already thinking about how to reduce the operation's cost and has a strategy in mind, which is to include players in the deal. In this regard, the chosen one is Andreas Christensen, who seems to have lost his place in the Catalan club. While 30 million euros is an affordable price, Barça wants to save resources for other operations and the inclusion of the Dane could be positive for both parties.
