Official, Barça already has a new goalkeeper and there's a surprise: Much better than Ter Stegen

The Portuguese sporting director only has two players on the list to replace the German

Barça is already planning for the summer market. The first major goal will be to sign a center forward who can be Robert Lewandowski's successor. Barça is aware of the need for a scorer who can secure the team's offensive future, and they're analyzing several options.

The search for a replacement for Lewandowski won't be easy, as the market is very competitive and many clubs are looking for similar players. However, Barcelona wants to find a young forward, but with experience, who fits the club's playing style and can also contribute goals immediately.

The Other Major Priority is the Goalkeeper Position

The other major goal for Barça in the upcoming summer market will be to strengthen the goalkeeper position, due to doubts surrounding Marc-André ter Stegen's recovery. Although the German has been one of the team's pillars in recent years, the uncertainty about how he will return from this injury is concerning.

Barça fears that Ter Stegen may not regain his usual level of the past and, for this reason, is looking for alternatives to ensure a viable long-term option. Additionally, with his age, the situation becomes even more complex.

Deco is Clear about Iñaki Peña and Szczęsny

Additionally, Deco doesn't have full confidence in the two current first-team goalkeepers, Iñaki Peña and Wojciech Szczęsny. Although both are good goalkeepers, Deco believes they don't have the necessary level to take on the responsibility of being the starting goalkeeper.

Thus, the future of the club's goalkeeping seems to depend on the arrival of a new goalkeeper who will become a key player in the team.

The Two Names on the List

In this regard, according to "Fichajes.net," Deco has only two names in mind to strengthen the goalkeeper position. The first is Diogo Costa, Porto's goalkeeper, who has stood out in recent years with his great performance in the Portuguese league and European competitions.

The other name gaining traction is Marcin Bulka, the current goalkeeper for Nice. The Pole has been one of the revelations in Ligue 1 and is seen as a high-potential option. Both goalkeepers are young and have a profile that would fit well with Barcelona's philosophy, so Deco is evaluating their potential addition.
