Bayern will pay the €75M to Barça to take their star: Gavi refuses to accept it

The blaugrana club knows that many clubs are after its signing

Barça has already finalized the signing of Joan García, but his registration in LaLiga won't be immediate. The club first needs to free up space in its wage bill, which is currently exceeded according to Fair Play parameters. Joan García represents the future in goal, but his entry into the team still requires financial adjustments.

Additionally, Barça also needs to free up wage bill space to sign and register Nico Williams, the top target of the summer. The club is far along in talks with the Athletic Club footballer and a personal agreement already exists. However, executing the €58 million release clause and registering him in the competition requires considerable financial engineering.

Ter Stegen and Araujo, key pieces in the exit operation

One of the solutions Barça is considering is the departure of Marc-André ter Stegen. The German goalkeeper has one of the highest salaries in the squad and his exit would free up significant space in the wage cap. With Joan García signed, the goal is covered, and Barça isn't guaranteeing the German goalkeeper his starting role, so the club is trying to find him a way out.

Meanwhile, another name that could leave the club is Ronald Araujo. The Uruguayan center-back has been tempted by several Premier League and Bundesliga clubs, and Barça, although it doesn't want to part with him, isn't ruling out his departure.

Fermín López, followed by Europe's giants

Another footballer on the radar of several major European clubs is Fermín. The youth academy product has attracted interest from Chelsea and Bayern Munich, clubs that have already shown their willingness to negotiate for him. Fermín is considered a gem by many scouts, thanks to his ability to arrive from the second line, his vision, and his competitive character.

However, at Barça he hasn't had all the minutes he wanted, which could open the door to his departure. Nevertheless, the club is aware of his value and has no intention of selling him unless an offer arrives that's impossible to refuse. Keeping him remains the priority.

A million-euro offer from Saudi Arabia

As if that weren't enough, Al Ahly, one of the most powerful clubs in Saudi Arabia, has submitted a €75 million offer for Fermín. This is a figure that would make any club think, especially in Barça's current economic context. Even so, the club keeps its commitment to the footballer.

For now, Fermín continues with the team's preseason and everything indicates that he'll stay. The summer is long, nothing can ever be considered closed, but the board's intention is for Fermín to be part of the project. Offers may keep coming, but his departure, for now, isn't on the table.
