He's better than Mastantuono and Barça has already signed him: he'll debut in the next match, top-level

The star who has not been able to play for Barça and who wants minutes as soon as possible is being compared to the Argentine

Barcelona is experiencing an unexpected situation with one of its summer signings. The protagonist is Roony Bardghji, a Swedish winger who arrived from Copenhagen. The footballer excelled in the Champions League with the Danish team and landed at Camp Nou with the clear intention of succeeding under Flick's orders.

During preseason, the young striker was one of the biggest sensations. His dribbling, speed, and goal-scoring ability excited the fans and convinced the coaching staff. The problem is that Bardghji still isn't registered in LaLiga EA Sports and his immediate future is causing uncertainty at the club.

Barça wants to count on him, but Financial Fair Play is once again an obstacle. "Roony is ready to play, but we need to find the formula to register him," sources from the Barça offices point out. The Swedish footballer has recently excelled in training and in some matches, but the Barça player hasn't been able to be registered for now.

Comparison with the Mastantuono case at Real Madrid

The case inevitably recalls what happened at Real Madrid with  Franco Mastantuono. The Argentine, signed from River Plate, was registered with Real Madrid Castilla to avoid problems and speed up his adaptation. At Barça, many are asking for the same solution with Bardghji, however, the regulations make it complicated.

The Barça reserve team, Barça Atlètic, competes in Segunda RFEF, LaLiga doesn't allow a player coming from that category to be registered with the first team. This detail is causing internal conflict, Flick wants him in the squad, but the club finds itself trapped in an administrative dead end. "We want him to play now, but the law is very clear," sources close to the Barça locker room acknowledge.

Roony Bardghji's immediate future

The situation has caused some concern in the player's circle, Roony Bardghji made it clear upon his arrival that his dream is to wear the Barcelona jersey. "I'm here to succeed, not to go out on loan," the Swedish winger confessed at his presentation. The Nordic footballer hopes to get playing time this season.

Barça is considering different ways to unlock his case, one option would be to free up spots in the main squad.  Another is to find a temporary fit through a loan in LaLiga. The truth is Flick doesn't want to lose the footballer. Getafe and Sevilla have sounded out his camp in case this possibility can be realized.

The German coach has conveyed to the club his desire to count on the young talent, Bardghji is seen as a bet for both the present and the future. Barça doesn't want the case to become a new media problem. The shadow of the "Mastantuono case" at the eternal rival looms over Camp Nou.
