Flick gets fed up and kicks Xavi's spoiled player out of Barça: He can't stand him anymore, he's unbearable

A footballer with a lot of market potential could leave in the next transfer window.

Hansi Flick has managed to get the maximum performance from the squad so far this season. Despite the level that was expected of the team, Flick has made Barça competitive both nationally and internationally. A clear example of success is the conquest of the Spanish Super Cup in January, an important trophy that demonstrates the team's good form.

Players like Lamine Yamal, Raphinha, or Pedri have been key to the team's functioning. Lamine, with his ability to break through, is already the team's leader, while Pedri and Raphinha have reached their best level with the German.

The players Hansi Flick doesn't count on

However, despite this, there are also players in the squad that the coach doesn't count on much, due to the lack of minutes and prominence on the field.

The cases of Pablo Torre, Héctor Fort, Christensen, Ansu Fati, and Pau Victor are representative. These players have barely had opportunities and, when they have, they haven't managed to convince enough to earn a place in the starting eleven.

Barça wants to cash in

Among them, one of the most striking cases is that of Andreas Christensen, who, despite being a player with great experience, doesn't seem to count as already recovered. This situation has led the club to consider his departure, especially because the Dane has a market with other teams and his contract ends in 2026.

Barcelona is aware that if they decide to put him up for sale, there will be no shortage of offers for him, especially from Premier League clubs. Selling Christensen could be a strategy for the club to generate income and, in this way, be able to make other signings that strengthen more needed areas in the squad.

Flick already has his defensive line-up defined

In defense, Flick has preferred to count on Ronald Araújo, Pau Cubarsí, Eric García, and Íñigo Martínez rather than Christensen.

In this context, Christensen has been relegated to a secondary role, as Flick has opted for other players who, in his opinion, provide more stability and performance to the defense. This situation puts the Danish defender in an uncomfortable position, and his future at the club seems closer to an exit than a long-term stay.
