Laporta confirms Barça's 2 star signings: 'We're going to break the market...'

The president is convinced that high-caliber operations can be undertaken

Joan Laporta is clear that next summer has to be the summer of excitement. After years of economic difficulties and restrictions that have limited the club, Laporta wants to bring excitement back to the Barça fans. Barça needs to regain the shine that has characterized it throughout its history, and for that, the president has a plan.

He intends to make the most of the money from the contract with Nike to sign great players. Laporta is determined to make a statement this summer and make Barça a protagonist in the market again. Therefore, Laporta's strategy involves significant signings, players who not only strengthen the squad but also generate excitement.

Barça's top priority is in attack

The forward line is, without a doubt, the area where Barça wants to strengthen. The club has had problems with a lack of rotation, and the need for a dynamic winger and a reliable center forward is evident.

The first target in the forward line will be a winger who brings speed, creativity, and the ability to break through defenses. Meanwhile, they will look for a center forward who can be Lewandowski's future replacement. Laporta trusts that the arrival of these players will give the team a competitive and emotional boost.

Firepower for the '9'

Regarding the center forward, Barça has two favorite options: Alexander Isak and Viktor Gyökeres, players with optimal ages, dynamic, and with a great future ahead. Isak, with his ability to play with his back to goal and his skill in link-up play, is a very attractive option. Gyökeres, meanwhile, has been one of the most outstanding scorers in Europe over the past two seasons, and his goal-scoring excites.

However, both players would have a high cost, as their value exceeds 100 million euros (approximately 110 million dollars). Despite the necessary investment, Barça doesn't rule out making an effort to sign one of these forwards.

Excitement and imbalance on the wing

In the winger position, the first on the list is Nico Williams. His price is 60 million euros (approximately 66 million dollars), and his ability to break through defenses and link up with other players would give Barça a fresh air in attack. Another option is Rafael Leão, who has been one of the most outstanding figures in Serie A in recent years.

His price would be higher, around 100 million (approximately 110 million dollars), but his quality and ability to make a difference in the most important matches make him a very attractive option. Finally, the name of Luis Díaz from Liverpool is also on the table. Although his transfer would be around 80 million (approximately 88 million dollars), the Colombian is one of the most dynamic wingers in Europe and would be an exciting signing.

Joan Laporta is willing to do everything possible to bring excitement back to Barça and strengthen the squad. With major signings in the forward line, the club seeks to regain its elite status in Europe, with names like Isak, Gyökeres, Nico Williams, Leão, or Luis Díaz as the main targets.
